To ensure its customers achieve success with pmPoint, BrightWork and its partners provide a rich set of consulting and deployment services targeted at successful design, implementation and usage of the pmPoint collaboration project management solution.
In short the deployment of pmPoint is a mini-project with its own lifecycle. To this end BrightWork has developed a well-defined, proven 5-step methodology to accelerate the delivery of its capabilities to users so as to make certain that the solution matches the needs of the customer's user community, and to ensure that users are self-sufficient in the use and maintenance of the pmPoint solution after the initial deployment.
With each and every engagement BrightWork or a partner will explain this model to the customer and work with the customer to plan the project influenced by this approach.
Recommended Deployment Approach
The pmPoint deployment methodology is outlined as follows:
- Strategy and Planning
- Formulate an approach to making pmPoint work for you very quickly - including the selection of the pilot projects.
- Duration - a few hours to a half a day to a few days
- Infrastructure Setup
- Help to get the software installed and configured and provide you basic product training.
- Duration - a few hours to a half a day to one day
- Design and Build
- Working with a few key users in each deployment area to define and implement a solution to the challenge at hand… and at the same time transferring more pmPoint knowledge to the organization.
- Duration - a few hours to a half a day to a few days
- Rollout
- Advise on how to deploy the new software / process and help with adjustments as needed.
- Duration - an hour or two hours to a few days
- Operational Support
- Support you through the operational phase of the first few projects and help you plan next steps.
In most cases, BrightWork's pmPoint solution can be deployed in a matter of days or weeks as opposed to weeks or months. In this way, BrightWork and our partners strive to ensure that customers gain a solid return on their investment on an accelerated timetable.
